Is beef production in your future? Maybe you are new to beef production or perhaps you are a dairy producer thinking about adding or transitioning to cow-calf production. If so, then join the University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Extension Beef Cow-Calf School for Beginners.
Five, FREE,1 ½ hour online classes will be held from 7 8.30 pm in 2024 on March 19, 21, 26 and April 2 and 4. Class sessions will be recorded for you to view in case you miss an evening’s session. Your registration provides access to recorded videos and other resources.

March 21 – Marketing: begin with the end in mind.
March 26 –Veterinary skills all beginners need.
April 2 – Meeting cow-calf nutritional needs.
April 4 – Herd reproduction to build your future.
A follow-up field day at a beef operation is being planned for 2024. There may be a fee for the field day.
The school is free, but class size is limited, and you must register online by March 11, 2024.
