Welcome to the 2021 virtual Badger Swine Symposium. The University of Wisconsin system has a strong history of swine research that continues today. Badger Swine Symposium
Wisconsin may be known as the dairy state, but ties to swine production in Wisconsin run deep. The Badger Swine Symposium is sponsored by the Animal and Food Science Department at UW-River Falls, School of Agriculture at UW-Platteville, Animal and Dairy Science Department at UW-Madison, the UW-Madison Extension Swine Team and the Wisconsin Pork Association.
Extension Livestock Programs
The Extension Livestock Program provides timely resources and information to help farmers, consumers and allied industry to make informed decisions about beef cattle, poultry, sheep and goats, equine, swine, and meat science. There are also resources for youth caring for livestock.
