Most of Wisconsin will be facing another bought of cold weather in the coming week, this time with the likelihood of more snow. In addition, many of the spring calving cow herds have the cows entering the third trimester of pregnancy, with some producers possibly even calving, or soon to be. During these production stages beef cow’s nutritional needs increase as the calves begin rapid growth and the cows get ready to calve.
